ALE/IDoc Interface CREMDM 

Definition

Within the MDM scenarios, business partner data is sent via the ALE/IDoc interface CREMDM from an SAP R/3 system, which uses SAP R/3 vendor masters for business partner data.

Use

The SAP R/3 vendor masters sent from the SAP R/3 system are required in the master data server in the format of the data type ABABusinessPartner (MDS). They are sent from SAP R/3 via the IDoc adapter of the XI and transformed using an XSL transformation or Java transformation to the format of the data type ABABusinessPartner (MDS) of the master data server.

The CREMDM interface is suitable for mass processing.

Structure

The IDoc structure CREMDM contains:

·        The IDoc segments E1LFA1M, E1LFBKM, and E1LFASM, for which an XI mapping with MDM business partner is realized

·        Another embedded IDoc segment, the structure ADRMAS02, which includes the address and communication data

Integration

The ALE/IDoc interface CREMDM is linked to the MDM business partner of a master data server via the generic interface ABABusinessPartner (MDS). The data exchange between them takes place in the form of XML messages, which are transformed using XSLT programs.
