Copying/Inserting Appointments
Use
You can copy the data of an appointment into the clipboard. In a second step, you can create follow-on appointments by inserting this data.
The following data is not copied, but is determined by the time slot:
- Scheduling type
- Planning object
- Date
- Time
- Appointment notification data
Procedure
On the
appointment overview in visit scheduling, select a day, and position the cursor on the appointment entry, whose data you want to copy, in the daily schedule of the planning object.
Copy the data of the appointment to the clipboard by choosing Edit ®
Appointment ®
Copy.
Position the cursor on the time slot where you want to insert the appointment with the copied data in the daily schedule of the planning object.
You can create a new appointment for the patient by choosing Edit ®
Appointment ®
Insert.
The copied data is displayed in the Maintain Appointment dialog box. If the appointment you copied referenced a case, you can create a new visit with the data displayed in the dialog box and without further interaction by choosing Create visit.

If you save the data by choosing Provisional appt, the system ignores the case reference and creates a provisional appointment based on the copied appointment data.
To create further follow-on appointments, you can select other days from the appointment overview, and proceed as described above.
The copied visit data of a patient remains in the clipboard during a program call until it is overwritten by a new copy operation.
