Creating Preregistrations for Treatment with Outpatient Appointment
Use
You can create a preregistration for an outpatient examination. To make this easier, the Visit Scheduling open time slot search is available to you for creating provisional outpatient appointments. A list of provisional outpatient appointments is returned in the EnjoySAP Admission.
Prerequisites
The Create Preregistration function is available when you are creating views based on the following view types:
- View type Occupancy
- View type Preregistration
- View type Outpatient Clinic/Service Facility

You can, for example, call preregistrations from
Care Unit Work Station or from the Outpatient Clinic/Service Facility Work Station. Here the system administrator must have set up a view here that contains a function variant with the
Create Preregistration function (a preregistration list or a waiting list, for example).
Procedure
Choose
Create Preregistration.
The Create Preregistration dialog box appears.
In the Patient group box, specify provisional master data for a new patient, or find the patient master data of an existing patient by entering the data known to you, and then choosing
Patient.
In the Preregistration group box, enter the data pertaining to the preregistration. For more information about this, see Enter Preregistrations.
On the Surgery/Treatment tab page, enter the planning data (such as the case type outpatient case).
You can branch to the open time slot search by clicking on the
icon to the right of the
Sg/Treatment field. For more information, see
Find Open Time Slots Using Standard Search.
When the scheduling procedure has ended, return to the preregistration; the system transfers the provisional outpatient appointment into the
Sg/Treatment field in the preregistration.
Enter other data as required on the other tab pages.
Save the preregistration.
