Use

If you wish to look for a group appointment in the open time slot search, you have to flag the Group Appt. checkbox.

A multiappointment can comprise either single appointments only or group appointments only.

Prerequisites

When you define scheduling types in Customizing for IS-H, you can specify a value in the No. Pat. (number of patients) field. If you enter a digit greater than 1 here, you stipulate that the system is to use this scheduling type for group time slots. You can assign the number of patients you specified in the field above to each time slot based on this scheduling type.

When creating scheduling types, you create scheduling types for group appointments by specifying the maximum number of patients that can be assigned to the time slot in the No. Pat. (number of patients) field.

Activities

You can search for a group appointment using the Standard Search and the Advanced Search.

Choose a scheduling type that allows for more than one patient per appointment. The system automatically flags the Group Appt. checkbox, and the search only returns time slots that accommodate group appointments.

If you enter the scheduling type using the value help, the No.P column tells you whether a scheduling type accommodates group appointments or not:
