Find Open Time Slot for a Patient

Use

In Visit Scheduling, you can search for open time slots for a patient who is in the patient database.

Prerequisites

The search can relate both to patients with existing patient master data and to patients with provisional patient master data.

Procedure

Call Visit Scheduling. For information on how do this, see Call Visit Scheduling.

Choose

Patient. You can carry out the search both for patients with existing patient master data and for patients with provisional patient master data.

The Patient List: Initial Screen dialog box appears.

Enter the known search criteria for the patient, and choose

Find.

Choose the patient.

The most important patient data is now displayed in the header of the Visit Scheduling function.

Perform the other steps for the Standard Search or Advanced Search.

Result

If you selected the Choose from Time Slot List radio button on the Settings tab page, when the search completes, the system places the patient data for this patient on the Patient Data tab page.

If you selected the Choose from Daily Schedule radio button on the Settings tab page, and then click on an open time slot in the daily schedule, the system fills the relevant fields with the patient data.
