Procedure documentation Creating Surgeries Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

  1. On the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Hospital ® Patient Management ® Medical/Nursing Documentation ® Surgeries ® Change.

    2. The Create Surgery: Initial Screen appears.

  2. Enter the patient or case number, or find the patient using the patient index search.
  3. Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Create.

    4. The patient’s case list appears.

  4. Select the case for which you want to create a surgery/procedure, and then choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text New Surgery.

    5. The Create Surgery: Surgical Data/Services screen appears.

  6. If relevant, confirm the adjustment actions relating to the service rules.
  7. Save the data.

You return to the initial screen.

Result

The system creates the corresponding outpatient visit.
