The Care Unit Work Station is an instance of the Clinical Work Station. The care unit work station provides an ergonomic interface for facilitating work on the care unit. Users or user groups can now be provided with predefined patient lists as a starting point for their daily work.

You can use patient lists with administrative data and functions from IS-H or clinical data - particularly from IS-H*MED – in the Care Unit Work Station. This results in the tighter integration of administrative and clinical data. The required data is selected from the predefined data set using user-specific or user group-specific selections and filters.

Besides the selection of object and data display, you can also restrict the executable functions in a personalized patient list (the system administrator generally has authorization for this). This makes it possible to provide the individual user or user group with only those functions that they really need and use.
