Procedure documentation Maintaining Doors Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

  1. On the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Hospital ® Basic Data Administration ® Hospital Structure ® Building Structure ® Doors ® Maintain.
  2. The rooms and corridors for which you have already defined doors are listed. All care units including the corridors and the adjoining building unit with x- and y-coordinates are displayed.

  3. The following editing options are available from this list:

– Create new entries

– Display and change existing entries

– Delete existing entries

Now proceed with the following steps in relation to the processing option you are using:

Delete Existing Entries

  1. Choose New Entries.

The New Entries: Details of Added Entries screen appears.

  1. Select an entry, and then choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.

The assignment detail screen appears.

  1. Select the entry you want to delete.
  1. To create a room door, specify the identification key of the corridor and of the room that are to be joined by a door. Also specify the identification key of the care unit to which the room is assigned.

Maintain the coordinates of the room door.

To create a corridor door, specify the identification key of the corridor both in the Corridor field and the Room field. Also specify the identification key of the care unit to which the corridor is assigned.

Maintain the coordinates of the corridor door.

  1. Make any necessary changes to the coordinates.
  1. Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.

The system deletes the entry.

  1. Save the data.

You return to the list of existing entries.
