Use

Work Environment

Different work environments can be defined for different users or user groups (roles).

Example 1

The work environment of a nurse on a particular care unit consists of the following patient lists: occupancy list, arrivals list, departures list - each for this care unit.

More than one work environment can be assigned to a physician responsible for several care units in different departments:

If you are using IS-H*MED, medical document views can be assigned to a physician.

Functions

Under Functions, you find user-specific configured/selected favorites and the user menu. Functions that are called from the user menu can be added to your list of favorites by choosing System ® User Profile ® Expand Favorites.

System Behavior with Open or Closed Folders

The system saves the open/closed status of each work environment, when you exist the Clinical Work Station using This graphic is explained in the accompanying text, This graphic is explained in the accompanying text or This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.

The next time you use the Clinical Work Station, the folders you left open are automatically opened and the folders you left closed remain closed.
