Use
The visit scheduling function enables you to notify patients of new, changed or rescheduled appointments.
Prerequisites
Notifications of admission can only be printed if you flagged the Notification desired option in the dialog boxes for creating, changing or moving appointments or blocks of appointments.

If the appointment still has provisional appointment status, in other words it has still to be assigned a case number or a patient number, this function is not available to you. This is because a reference to the patient address must be specified for the notifications to be sent. To be able to use the function, you must first make the assignment to the appropriate patient or case, or create a new outpatient visit.
Features
A collective print function is available for you for printing the notifications. For more information about this, see
Collective Print of Appointment Notifications. The fields and information relating to notification of admission are located in the Notification of appointment group frame in the dialog boxes for creating or changing appointments.
Date, time, treatment organizational unit, attending physician and treatment room for the scheduled appointment.
The print log contains information on the notifications that were printed for the respective appointment using the collective print function.
