Control Activity Description

Monitors for changes to the journal entry schedule used in processing recurring postings.

Business Value

SAP provides the capability to automatically post recurring journal entries to increase the efficiency of the financial closing process. The recurring journal entry schedule is used to configure which entries are processed on a recurring basis. Unauthorized changes to the schedule allow for erroneous or skipped postings.
