The Collective Processing function provides you with an overview of all the transactions you have selected on the basis of the selection criteria you entered on the initial screen.

There are two screens in which collective processing can be performed. Both can be found under the Treasury and Risk Management SAP area menu:   Financial Risk Management for Commodities   Back Office   Collective Processing  

  • FTR_00 Transaction Management supports financial instruments for all product categories.

  • FTRCOMS00–Collective Processing : Commodity Swap Transactions supports only transactions for product category 810, Commodity Swap.

There are two parts to the FTRCOMS00–Collective Processing : Commodity Swap Transactions screen:

  • Selection screen – enables you to enter the selection criteria.

  • Result screen –displays the results. In this screen, you can create new deals and perform functions such as display, change, settle, reverse and give notice.

Activities

To perform collective processing, you must first generate a list of transactions:

  1. Select an Activity Category. At least one Activity Category must be selected.

  2. Select or enter the required data in the fields on the selection screen.

  3. Select Execute.

The system displays a list of the selected commodity swaps.

You now have the option of processing the transactions in the list:

  1. Position your cursor on the commodity swap you want to process.

  2. You can now select one of the following options, either using the buttons at the top of the screen or the   Edit   Transaction   menu:

    • Create – to create a new commodity swap.

    • Change – to edit the selected commodity swap.

    • Display – to view the selected commodity swap.

    • Settle – to open the selected commodity swap for settling.

    • Reverse – to reset the most recent activity change made to the commodity swap.

    • Status Management – shows the status management of the commodity swap.

    • Posting Release – enables you to perform a manual posting release of the commodity swap.

  3. Process the commodity swap in the same way as you would process an individual commodity swap.
