In countries where taxes on sales/purchases are levied locally, the system allows you to post your taxes and to generate your tax returns below company code level.

Features

Taxes on sales/purchases are handled using the standard procedure. However, so that you can post your taxes and generate your tax returns at local level, the system provides an organizational unit called the business place.

Activities

You define your taxes on sales/purchases as normal, but you must make sure that you assign them to the relevant business place when you post vendor and customer invoices.
