The views of the Surgeries View Type are used as worklists for planning and documenting surgeries.

 

You use the views of the Surgeries view type for planning surgeries on the clinical work station. This means that you have a work station which can encompass the information about inpatients, outpatients, and patients requiring surgery which is necessary for your work process.

The system administrator can make various Surgeries type views available on the clinical work station for planning surgeries.

Caution Caution

The views of the Surgeries view type will replace the surgery planning list at some point in the future. The surgery planning list will still be maintained, but will not be developed further.

You should not use the views of the Surgeries view type and the surgery planning list simultaneously, as some Surgeries view type options are not available in the surgery planning list (e.g. planning authority check).

The views of the Surgeries view type are not predefined planning lists for surgeries. The system administrator can provide any number of different views for different users. The views can contain various functions, contents, and layouts. The Surgeries view type contains a function selection, from which the system administrator can provide the required functions.

Depending on the system administrator's definition, you can work with several different views on the clinical work station.
