Procedure documentation Copying an ALE Distribution Unit Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

You can copy either the object list of the original packet and all correction packets of an ALE distribution unit, or only the object list of the original packet of a distribution unit.

Prerequisites

You have created at least one ALE distribution unit.

Procedure

To copy an ALE distribution unit:

  1. Choose Logistics ® Central Functions ® Product Data Distribution ® ALE Distribution Unit ® Copy ALE Distribution Unit.
  2. Enter the selection criteria for the source unit:
    1. Name of the packet
    2. Packet owner
    3. Partner system
    4. Distribution direction
  1. Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text .

    2. You go to the processing transaction for distribution units in the source system.

  2. Choose object list of unit or object list of original packet.
  3. Enter the key of the target unit, and choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text. This copies the data in the template to the new ALE distribution unit.
  4. Make changes if required.
  5. Save.
