BP Role: Commission Contract Partner 

Definition

Business partner role in the commission system that is created in SAP Business Partner(other possible roles include agent without own commission contract or commission clerk). You can have different types of relationship between business partners, for example "is an employee of".

Use

Since a commission contract partner can have several commission contracts and there is no link between the role and the business relationship category (object type in where-used list), the role provides the link to the commission contract. You also need the role to clarify whether the business partner is a commission contract partner or a correspondence recipient.

Structure

In addition to information on name components, personal data, addresses and communication methods, information on education and training is also displayed, as a result of integration of qualification management from the SAP human resources component.

When a commission contract is created, it is uniquely assigned to a commission contract partner.

This assignment means that the commission contracts of a partner are clearly identified in the partner's master data, meaning that it is possible to navigate directly to the commission contract.

You can assign the role of commission contract partner to several business partner types.
