Procedure documentation Creating an SPPA Record for an Employee with a Self-Certificate Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Procedure

       1.      From the infotype SMP/SAP/SPP GB (0088) screen, create a new infotype record.

       2.      Select the subtype SPPA.

       3.      Enter the matching date recorded on the Matching Certificate in the Notific. of match field .

       4.      Enter the date the employee gives notice of intention to start the statutory absence (Adoption Pay Period) in the Notific. to employer field.

       5.      Enter the date that the child is expected to be placed for adoption with the employee in the Expected placement field.

Note

This date, where known, is located on the Matching Certificate.

       6.      Enter either a start date for this Paternity absence or the actual placement date of the child.

       7.      Confirm your entries.

The system then automatically calculates the following:

a.       Earliest start date (from/to) of the Paternity absence

b.       Start date of Matching Week

c.       Expected end date of Paternity absence

       8.      Save your entries.

Result

The system creates an infotype 0088 (subtype SPPA) record for the employee.
