Collective Mode-of-Transport
Category 
The concept of collective mode-of-transport categories allows you to group mode-of-transport categories. This allows you to react more flexibly to the requirements of individual dangerous goods regulations.
The standard system contains the collective mode-of-transport category 99(All Mode-of-Transport Categories). You can build other collective mode-of-transport categories from the mode-of-transport categories listed below that are shipped with the standard system and from your own mode-of-transport categories.

When you group mode-of-transport categories to form a collective mode-of-transport category, you should note the following:
· One mode-of-transport category can be assigned to a number of collective mode-of-transport categories.
· Collective mode-of-transport categories cannot be grouped to form collective mode-of-transport categories at a higher level.
· Collective mode-of-transport categories must be assigned to the base mode-of-transport category 07 (Collective Mode-of-Transport Categories).

Note that the concepts behind base mode-of-transport categories and collective mode-of-transport categories are different.
