Function documentation Cash Flow Statement Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

The system comes with two drilldown reports that you can use to prepare the cash flow statements, one for the direct method, and one for the indirect method.

To access the reports, on the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Accounting ® Financial Accounting ® General Ledger ® Information System ® General Ledger Reports ® Balance Sheet/Profit and Loss Statement/Cash Flow ® Slovakia ® Cash Flow Statement (Direct Method) or … ® Cash Flow Statement (Indirect Method).

Features

Both of the statements are structured in the format prescribed by law.

The direct and indirect cash flow statements are based on the financial statement versions RSK2 and RSK3 respectively.

However, note that the indirect cash flow statement does not read the profit/loss item (the first item in the report) from the financial statement version, but calculates it itself by subtracting the balance of all the expense accounts from the balance of all of the revenue accounts.

Output

The output list shows a three-level hierarchy of G/L account balances. You can drill down by company code.

Activities

To display the line items in a given G/L account, position the cursor on it and choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text. If you position the cursor on any other item, the system displays all the line items from all the accounts that belong to it.
