Use

By selecting the Exits method for the manual entry of planning data, you can use on your planning data planning functions that you programmed yourself. You can use planning functions with and without reference data.

Prerequisites

  1. For every individual function that you carry out, you need to create an exit number for the customer enhancement in Customizing by choosing Planning ® Planning Aids. This exit number is then used to control the different functions separately within the function modules for the customer enhancement COPA0006 (see point 2).
  2. All functions that you want to use must first be carried out in the enhancement COPA0006 in Customizing for Profitability Analysis under Tools ® SAP Enhancements. By using two different function modules, you can choose between executing the enhancement with or without reference data. Both function modules contain an Exit number field in the interface. This allows you to distinguish between the different functions within the same function module (such as "If exit no. = 1, execute function 1. If exit no. = 2, execute function 2.").

Activities

  1. Select the profitability segments for which you want to use the function programmed by you. Then choose Edit ® Planning methods ® Exits.
  2. Enter the exit number.
  3. If the exit number calls up a function with a reference, the system will always call up the information from the reference data.
