Determination of Transport Symbol Groups 
Use
This function determines the transport symbol groups from the modes of transport and countries specified in the labeling scenario.
Prerequisites
You have entered the necessary data in the material’s dangerous goods master and in Customizing for Dangerous Goods Management.
Features
The system determines transport symbol groups in the following way:
- It determines the modes of transport you specified in the labeling scenario. For every mode of transport, it reads the assigned
mode of transport category in the IMG activity Assign Relevant Mode of Transport Category to Modes of Transport in Customizing for Dangerous Goods Management.
It determines the necessary dangerous goods regulations from the mode of transport categories and countries specified in the labeling scenario (see 
Checking of Validity Areas).
It determines the necessary danger labels for every dangerous goods regulation found from the material’s dangerous goods master, that is, the danger label specified on the Labeling tab page.
It determines the transport symbol groups specified for the dangerous goods regulations and danger labels in the IMG activity Specify Danger Labels in Customizing for Dangerous Goods Management.
