Use
You can start WebFlows for a selected iPPE object manually, to optimize company-specific engineering processes. These WebFlows are based on workflow templates, which are defined with reference to the iPPE object (BOR object type).
Prerequisites
WebFlows have been defined for the object type of the selected iPPE object.

Integration of WebFlow FunctionsProcedure
You see a list of the work items that reference the selected iPPE object. In the header of the table, you see the Start New Workflow button.
The system determines all the workflow templates that have been defined for the selected object type (such as structure node). The executable workflows are presented in a list.

Since you are usually dealing with large volumes of data, which can seriously impede system performance, we recommend that you use the implementation of BAdI
The following information is displayed, so that you can quickly get an overview of the work executable workflows:

If only one workflow is determined for the object type, the detail data is displayed, too.
The detail data of the work item is displayed, such as the task description.

If import parameters have been defined for the workflow task, so that the initiator of a work item has to enter further data, a new processing window can be opened. This is defined in BAdI
Once you have entered the data, choose Start Workflow again.
Result
The system starts the workflow. For example, the recipient of the task receives the corresponding work item in his or her workflow inbox.
You can track the processing status of the work item by displaying the detail data on the workflow view of the iPPE object.
