Configuring the ATP Check in SAP APO 
Use
You can transfer Customizing data from a central R/3 system (such as the sales system) using the
APO Core Interface, or you can create the data manually in SAP APO.This section describes the settings required for the ATP check in SAP APO. You maintain the check after the Customizing and master data have been transferred from the sales system to the SAP APO system. SAP recommends using a separate integration model to transfer the Customizing data.
Prerequisites
You have permitted the import of Customizing data in SAP APO. You make this setting in Customizing for Advanced Planner and Optimizer (APO) under Global Available-to-Promise (Global ATP Check) ® General Settings ® Maintain Global Settings for Availability Check.
In the sales system you have created an integration model with the indicator ATP Customizing. From the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Logistics ® Central Functions ® Supply Chain Planning Interface ® Core Interface Advanced Planner and Optimizer ® Integration Model ® Generate ® Create.
Procedure
Example:
The checking rule from SAP R/3 is mapped in SAP APO as a business event. The following business events are present after the Customizing data has been transferred to SAP APO:
A (SD order)
B (SD delivery)
Example:
The requirements class ZBK (copy of 041) Order/delivery reqmt should be transferred using CIF as a check mode to SAP APO.

Check whether the check mode has been entered in the SAP APO product master (ATP tab page). This should have been entered because of
From the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Master Data ® Product. Enter a product and the corresponding location. Choose the ATP tab page.

Example:
Checking group 02 is mapped as an ATP group after the Customizing settings have been transferred in SAP APO. Check whether the ATP group has been entered in the SAP APO product master (ATP tab page).
