Assigning Integration Objects 

Use

This procedure describes how you assign an integration object to a waste management business partner, in other words an object to which it corresponds in the SAP System.

Integration objects include, for example:

·         Company code

·         Plants

·         Storage locations

·         Cost centers

·         Vendors

Certain integration objects that you assign to a waste management business partner in the waste generator or waste disposer role are automatically assigned to the entry documents in which the waste generator or waste disposer appears in the SAP disposal processing component.

If you create a purchase order using the standard functions purchase order or order & clear from disposal processing, you must have entered a waste disposer in the entry document to which a vendor has been assigned as an integration object.

Prerequisites

·        You have processed the IMG activity Specify Object Types for Integration in Customizing for Waste Management.

·        You have executed the procedure Editing Waste Management Business Partners and are on the first tab page for the waste management business partner to which you want to assign an integration object.

Procedure

       1.      Under Assignment to (Integration), enter the integration object that corresponds to the waste management business partner.

Only enter an object in the SAP System that is identical to the waste management business partner. This means that for a waste generator that corresponds to a plant, enter only the plant. Specify the cost center that bears the costs of the waste disposal under Acct assignmt (see Assigning Account Assignment Objects).

If a waste management business partner is not identical to a plant or company code but does belong to one of these objects, you can enter this object under Address in the Company code or Plant field.

Note that you must enter the corresponding controlling area for a cost center and the storage location plant for a storage location. If you choose a cost center or a storage location using the input help, the system automatically adds the corresponding controlling area or the storage location plant.
