Record of Employment – Concurrent Employment Enabled 

Use

The Record of Employment (ROE) Workbench, which exists for standard Payroll Canada, is enabled for Concurrent Employment (CE).

In a Concurrent Employment environment, the transaction for the Record of Employment (ROE) Workbench has been changed to reflect the enhanced application. In a Concurrent Employment environment, the transaction for the enhanced Record of Employment (ROE) Workbench is HRPAYCA_ROEWB_CE.

Integration

 

Prerequisites

·        Before you generate the ROE form using the ROE Workbench, perform the customizing activities in the IMG under Payroll Canada ® Reporting and Statistics ® Record of Employment (ROE) ® Record of Employment - ROE Workbench (New Version).

·        Before you may submit ROE forms by means of ROE Web, your enterprise is required to be authenticated and enrolled in the ROE Web program by HRSDC. To do so, contact your local HRSDC office.

The CE enabled ROE Workbench is used in concert only with ROE Web.

Features

This features of this report are the same as that of the standard ROE Workbench. Some of the features that differ are as follows:

·        The Record of Employment (ROE) - Generator CE report (RPCROEK0_GENERATOR_CE) generates the ROE form on the Person ID level. The system checks for the interruption of earnings for the selected Person ID(s) before the ROE Run Date and generates the ROE forms for the corresponding employees.

■       Length of Person ID should not exceed 15 characters.

■       This report cannot be executed at an individual Personnel Assignment level. You can use the standard ROE Generator (RPCROEK0_GENERATOR) to generate ROE forms at the Personnel Assignment level.

●      You can enter a date in the As-of-date field to generate the ROE forms for the selected Person ID(s) as of that date, even if there is no interruption of earnings. In this case, if there has been an interruption of earnings in the past, and no ROE form has been generated for the same, the system disregards the interruption of earnings.

●      Business Add-in (BAdI) HRPAYCA_ROE_003 ­– You can use this BAdI to substitute the contents of standard ROE blocks with customer-specific values. You may also establish authorization checks for users who attempt to view employee ROE data. You can access this BAdI in the IMG under Payroll Canada ® Reporting and Statistics ® Record of Employment (ROE) ® Record of Employment - ROE Workbench (New Version) ® Business Add-Ins (BAdIs) ® Fill ROE Data and Check User Authority to View Employee Data (CE).

●      The different applications of the ROE Workbench in a CE enabled evironment are:

○       Record of Employment (ROE) - Run Viewer CE (RPCROEK0_RUN_VIEWER_CE)

○       Record of Employment (ROE) - Generator CE (RPCROEK0_GENERATOR_CE)

○       Record of Employment (ROE) - Exporter/Importer CE (RPCROEK0_XMPORTER_CE)

○       Record of Employment (ROE) - History Viewer CE (RPCROEK0_EE_VIEWER_CE)
