Configuring Alerts 
You must define the circumstances that trigger the different levels of alerts.

From the
alert monitor tool bar, choose
.
The Alerts Maintenance dialog box appears, displaying all object classes/alert categories.
2. For any alert category and site, enter a value for one or more of the following:
¡ Upper threshold value
¡ Upper warning threshold value
¡ Lower threshold value
¡ Lower warning threshold value
3. Choose a unit of measure for the UOM field.
4. If you want to exclude an alert category from the alert monitor, select Exclude.
5. To set an object class as the initially displayed object class, select Init. Exp.
6. Save your settings.

1. Display the object class/alert category.
2. From the hierarchy tree, right-click the icon to the left of the object class and choose Configure from the pop-up menu.
The Alerts Maintenance dialog box appears, displaying the selected alert category
3. Perform steps 2-6 in Configuring Multiple Alert Categories.
The system saves your alert settings.

For an object class/alert category, if you define alerts for a specific site and these alerts also exist for site ****, the alerts for the specific site take precedence.
