Example: Static ECO Connected to
Node
The static ECOs defined for a site include the following combinations of constraint objects:
|
ECO |
Node |
Combination |
Handling Unit Types |

PND07 |

9 x E1 |
|
4 |
PND03 |

9 x E1 |
Marcus Adams, a picker, selects a system-guided task using his presentation device. One of the tasks he is capable of doing involves moving an E1 pallet from PND07 to PND03.
There are currently 9 E1 pallets subscribed to the source node PND07 and 9 E1 pallets subscribed to the destination node PND03. Since the task involves taking an E1 pallet from PND07, and thus reduces by 1 the number of E1 pallets located there, ECO 3 is available. However, since PND03 has reached its capacity of 9 E1 pallets, ECO 4 is unavailable. Consequently, this task cannot be selected by any resource.
