Use

You want to use EDI processing for dangerous goods data.

Procedure

If you want to know which fields in the dangerous goods segments are intended for transfer, proceed as follows:

Segment Names for IDoc Types

If you require more information about the segment names of the IDoc types, proceed as follows:

...

       1.      In the overview tree on the SAP Easy Access screen, choose SAP menu ® Tools ® ALE ® ALE Administration ® Services ® Documentation ® IDoc Types and Segments (transaction WE60).

The Documentation screen appears.

       2.      Enter one of the following object names (basic type):

¡        For EDI processing from deliveries: DELVRY03

¡        For EDI processing from shipments: SHPMNT04

       3.      Choose Documentation ® HTML Format.

The Documentation for Basic Type screen appears and you can display the segment names of the IDoc types.

Segment Fields

If you require more information about the segment fields, proceed as follows:

       1.      In the overview tree on the SAP Easy Access screen, choose SAP menu ® Tools ® ALE ® ALE Development ® IDoc ® IDoc Type Development ® Segments (transaction WE31).

The Development Segments: Initial Screen appears.

       2.      Enter one of the following dangerous goods segment types.

Note

The following fields are no longer filled because the texts are output as SAPscript texts.

Segment type E1EDD11:

·         DGNA (Dangerous goods description)

·         DGRESD2 (Description for hazard-inducing substance 1)

·         DGRESD (Description for hazard-inducing substance 2)

·         DGRESD3 (Description for hazard-inducing substance 3)

·         DGREDMP (Description for hazard-inducing substance MP)

·         DGREDRQ (Description for hazard-inducing substance RQ)

Segment type E1EDD12:

·         STOSU (Aggregate state for transport)

·         HYGRO (Hygroscopicity)

Segment type E1EDD13:

·         DAID (Hazard note text)

Instead, the system transfers the texts using segment types E1EDDH3 and E1EDDP3.

       2.      Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text with the quick info text Display.

The system displays the fields that belong to the respective segment type.

Documentation on the Segment Types

To access the documentation for the individual segment fields, proceed as follows:

       1.      In the overview tree on the SAP Easy Access screen, choose SAP menu ® Tools ® ALE ® ALE Administration ® Services ® Documentation ® IDoc Types and Segments (transaction WE60).

The Documentation screen appears.

       2.      Enter the appropriate segment name and choose Documentation ® HTML Format.

The Documentation for Basic Type screen appears and you can display the segment structures.
