Cost Element Reports

Use

You can use cost element reports to evaluate one or more projects in detail by cost element. The reports contain the following information on costs and revenues:

Values
Quantities
Confirmed hours from activity allocations
Statistical key figures

You use cost element reports to evaluate the following data in detail:

Detailed information on the totals records
Planned costs from the network costing
Reconciliation results within project processing

Features

The standard system contains various cost element reports. You can use the Report Painter functions to copy the standard reports and adapt them to meet your needs, or to define new reports.

You can evaluate the following objects or object intervals in the Project System:

Project definitions

Work breakdown structure

Networks

Orders

Materials in networks (valuated stock only)

Cost element reports are created using the Report Painter. which means the Report Painter functions are available in your reports. However, you can use the Report Writer instead.
