You must customize your system to be able to use the withholding tax functions in Spain.

Depending on which release you have, you can use either:

If you have an earlier release (4.0 or earlier), you can either continue to use the classical or use the extended withholding tax functions.

If you have 4.0 or later, you must use the extended withholding tax functions.

With the extended customizing withholding tax functions in Release 4.0A, there are a number of new developments that represent a considerable improvement in the performance and flexibility over the range of withholding tax functions available under previous Releases.
