Label Tree
Use
This function displays the labels that were found during
label determination together with the number of labels determined in an overview tree.
Integration
The label tree is the starting point for the following procedures:
- Checking the log (see paragraph entitled Result under
Determining Labels)
Displaying labels
Printing labels
Features
The system displays the labels found as follows in a label tree:
- The system sorts the labels that were found according to
packaging layers. These form the top level of the label tree. For each packaging layer, the system displays the number of labels required for this packaging layer.
Within each packaging layer, the system sorts the labels that were found according to label categories. These form the second level of the label tree. For each label category, the system displays the number of labels per packaging unit.
The system arranges the labels under each label category. These form the third level of the label tree. The system displays the following data for each label:
- Description of the generation variant or, if this is not available in the logon language, the generation variant key
- Number of labels to be printed for the packaging unit and label category
- Description of the label stock or, if this is not available in the logon language, the label stock key
When you select a label by double-clicking, the system also displays the label’s serial numbers and user entries for printing, on the right-hand side of the screen.

You access the label tree when you
