Manual Planning with Layouts
You can enter plan data manually in the following planning areas:
· Costs and revenues
· Balance sheet values
· Statistical key figures
You do this using forms known as layouts. You can use the standard planning layouts in the SAP system or define your own layouts.
Planning on the basis of flexible layouts has the following advantages:
● You can define more than one lead column.
● Flexible value columns let you
– Plan more than one column
– Plan quarters, half years, or years
– Centralize or decentralize your planning
– Plan in different currencies
● You can define formulas in individual columns.
You can create various layouts for each planning area, with differing lead columns, characteristics etc. for example. This allows you to set up multi-faceted planning, in order or meet specific business requirements, such as version, half-year or quarterly planning.
You create layouts in Customizing for Profit Center Accounting, under Maintain Planning Layout for Costs/Revenues, Maintain Planning Layout for Balance Sheet Values, and Maintain Planning Layout for Statistical Key Figures
In Customizing, under Maintain Planner Profiles, you have to assign each layout to a planner profile
