Procuring Perishables at the
Market
You can generate a special planning list for those articles to be bought at a market. This list can be used as a worklist for the buyers.
Before you can use this function, you must generate a perishables planning list (see Perishables: Perishables Planning List).
● On the selection screen, you can narrow down the perishables assortment selected to those products bought at a market. The system can tell from the assortment list type which articles are procured at a market and prepare a market planning list for you.
● You can print the planning list or transfer it electronically.
The buyer enters the quantities to be ordered and the cost of the articles to be procured from the vendors in the printout. The articles ordered can then be entered directly in the system so that the order values are available in the system.
Alternatively, you can wait until the goods receipt is posted and then have the system generate a purchase order in the background. Purchase orders are required for Invoice Verification, for example.
● The system uses the ABAP list viewer (ALV) to display the list.
The ABAP list viewer displays lists in the SAP system in a standardized format. It contains a function for creating simplified lists and for dynamically creating list variants.
You can:
○ use standard display variants pre-configured by SAP
○ create your own display variant
○ define sort sequences
○ arrange the lines in descending or ascending order in line with the value assigned to the column
○ set filters
○ have lines displayed that meet certain criteria
○ create totals and sub-totals
You can configure the layout of the perishables planning list any way you like using display variants. For example, you can:
○ move columns
○ hide columns
○ create totals
○ define sort sequences
○ transfer the planning list electronically
○ print the planning list
To prepare a planning list for going to market, choose Environment ® Send… Print planning list
