Used to determine the extent to which the relevant standard agreement applies to an agent.

The individual guarantee agreement rule is an element of the commission contract. It must be created even if there are no differences between it and the standard, as only individual guarantee rules can be taken into account for settlement. Guarantee rules in a standard guarantee agreement that have not been concluded are not valid.

In the individual rule, you can only agree the start and end of the agreement, and the extent of the guarantee amount (varies within the parameters given).

You can only create guarantee rules for the guarantee agreement assigned to the standard contract. You can have several guarantee rules in a commission contract. The start of the agreement must always be given and can only be at the start of the period. The end date can either be given, or the guarantee rule can be concluded for an indefinite period.

The guarantee amount is taken over, but can be changed within the parameters defined in the standard rule. No other characteristics can be changed and they apply as defined in the standard rule.

The guarantee amount can only be changed if the change does not adversely affect the parameters in the standard rule. If the change is to apply to periods already settled, corrections to the settlements already made must be done manually. Automatic support is available later.

When the start of a guarantee rule is moved, the start of the agreement must:

• Be the same as the start of the period
• Not be before the start of the contract
• Not be after the end date of a another rule with the same remuneration type

Any period closing that has already been done must be corrected manually.

Guarantee agreement rules can only end at the end of a reference period. Recalls and disbursements required as a result of such an ending are done manually. New versions of an individual guarantee agreement rule must have the same remuneration type as previous versions. If you need to change the remuneration type, you must create a new individual guarantee agreement rule.

The individual guarantee agreement rule includes the following data:

• Commission contract number
• Number of guarantee agreement: Number is retained to facilitate subsequent tracking of the guarantee agreement.
• Number of guarantee agreement rule
• Version number: Is used together with other data on period management
• Start of guarantee: Date from which it applies
• End of guarantee: Date on which it expires
• Guarantee amount: Guarantee amount in contract currency
• Guarantee remuneration type: Guarantee remuneration type is transferred from standard rule for sub-threshold earnings

Guarantee rules are managed using commission contract maintenance. You create a guarantee rule when you create a commission contract and when you change existing contracts.
