Function documentation Standard Guarantee Agreement Rule Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

In the standard guarantee agreement rule you firstly define the guarantee remuneration type (guarantee for sub-threshold earnings) that is valid for the rule. Depending on the rules for recall and retention, you also enter the remuneration types for excess earnings, recall of sub-threshold earnings, and retention of excess earnings. You use the creditable remuneration types to stipulate the remuneration types that can be offset against the guarantee amount. The assigned period rule defines the exact duration for each individual period for which settlement is to take place. You use the disbursement flag to stipulate whether disbursement of the guarantee takes place at the beginning of, or at the end of a settlement period.

Features

The standard guarantee rule defines the most significant features of the rule. In the guarantee agreement rule of the commission contract, the standard rule becomes effective once you determine the actual term and the individually agreed guarantee amount. The commission contract does not have to apply every guarantee rule in the standard. However, the monthly settlement for the contract can only consider those rules actually agreed in the commission contract.

There can be several guarantee rules in the standard contract (and thus in the commission contract). The creditable remuneration types and the guarantee remuneration types can only appear once each in the standard guarantee agreement rules of a standard contract.

Activities

When you create a new standard guarantee rule, you must always link this to the related guarantee agreement.

Guarantee rules are managed using commission contract maintenance.
