Configuring SAP Biller Direct for UME 

Use

To enable SAP Biller Direct to access the user data stored on an LDAP server or an external database, configure the Web application in XCM.

Prerequisites

You have configured the company administrator at least for administrators.

Procedure

To edit the business partner and reference user (profile) using the UME administration console, proceed as follows:

       1.      Start the editing screen for users in the UME. Enter the following URL in your Internet browser <Protocol>://<server>:<port>/useradmin.

       2.      Log on as administrator.

       3.      Select the user for whom you want to define a reference user (profile) or business partner or both.

       4.      Choose Display Additional Data.
Here you can assign a profile (reference user) to your user using an input help. The profile must have been defined in the system (see Configuring the Company Administrator).
Using a search help, you can find existing business partners and assign them to the selected user.
If you are using FI-CA in the back end, you can only search for business partner BUS1006 (for technical reasons), and it is not possible for you to search for contract accounts.

       5.      Choose Save to save the assignments.
