Selecting a Flight 
You are assigned to a sales office that supports flight booking (see Customizing for Travel Planning under Master Data ® Technical Control Parameters for Travel Planning ®Feature TRVOF: Access Parameters Per User/Employee Group and Define Travel Service Categories).
You have created a travel request in the Planning Manager.

Choose
Flight - with quick info Add Flight
Request.
The Flight Request dialog box appears.
2. Choose the type of flight using the selection buttons:
- One-Way Flight
- Round Trip
- Multiple connections
Depending on the type of flight selected, varying entry boxes for the connection query will be available.
3. Enter the departure and arrival locations. You can enter the name of a town or an IATA location abbreviation. The system only recognizes cities that are defined as IATA locations or associated with them.
4. Enter the departure date. If you have selected flight type outbound and return flight, enter the date of the return flight. If you selected multiple connections, you can enter the destination location of the next following connection using the icon Copy. You can create up to six individual connections.
5. You can enter a time for all flight types (optional).
6. You can also choose, for all flights, whether the time specified is to be the arrival or departure time.

Availability Query (Enter) to query flight
availability.
Depending on availability the system lists 15 to 20 flight connections. If travel profiles have been created for your company (see the section Travel Profiles in Customizing for Travel Planning), all flight connections are displayed according to priorities. The priorities determine which offers are able to be booked according to the trip rules of your company.
The flights displayed, depends upon the travel profile set up for you (see Customizing for Travel Planning under Trip rules and profiles ® Define assignment of travel profiles to trip and class rules) and the display strategy for the travel planning control variant that you are assigned to (see Customizing for Travel Planning under Dialog and Planning Control ® Travel Planning Control ® Define Price and Availability Strategies).
You can
display further information for a flight, such as air miles, meals and drinks,
or smoking and non-smoking flight, by clicking on
Flight information – with quick
info Flight Information (F5).
8.
Select the
class for your flight and choose
Select.
The Change Travel Plan for <...> overview again appears. The queried flights carry the status prereserved for a certain period of time and can be booked.
