Function documentation Display of a Baseline Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

You can display a baseline and its structure.

Prerequisites

IBase

Recommendation

We recommend that you only save a baseline as IBase for smaller structures.

In the bottom left-hand screen area, where the content of the baseline is displayed, all the exploded objects are displayed individual in their structure. By choosing This graphic is explained in the accompanying text, you can display an overview of the entire exploded structure (maximum of 100 objects) or navigate one level up. The legend shows the possible object types.

You can postprocess the explosion result manually at a later point in time.

Compact Storage

Recommendation

Compact storage is especially well suited to large, complex structures.

If you have decided to save the baseline in compact form, you have a convenient display tool for the structure and its objects. You see the compact storage below the top object, as a separate IBase object. From the context menu of the IBase object, you can choose Display explosion result to start a viewer that displays the entire exploded structure (see also Displaying the Explosion Result (FOX Viewer) ).

You cannot postprocess the explosion result manually at a later point in time.
