Use

Use this function to create new collateral entities by copying the attributes of existing entities. The copy function has the following features:

     Supports the copying of entity objects for all categories of collateral objects and collateral agreements.

     Permits copying only in the dialog mode. Collateral Management does not permit copying as a background function.

     Allows the system to perform the necessary authorization checks before copying entity objects.

     Allows copying of different data groups depending on the entity object category.

     Copies the process control settings of the source object (including the administration organizational unit).

     Supports copying of entity objects into a different administration organizational unit.

     Restricts copying of the following details:

     The following details will not be copied:

     General information such as documents, notes and change requests

     Collateral object details such as land register, charge, financing object, administration and liquidation details.

     Collateral agreement details such as collateral agreement portion, special arrangements, collateral scope, inclusive rules, relationships to other collateral agreements, administration, liquidation and enforcement details.

 

Procedure

       1.      From the hit list, select the source entity object that you want to copy and then choose Enter.

The Copy dialog box appears. This dialog box shows the entity type and identification of the source entity object.

       2.      Select the administration organizational unit in which you want to create the new entity object.

The administration organizational unit of the source entity object is selected as the default value.

       3.      Check the flag for the data groups that you want to copy. The entity type and entity category determine the possible data groups that can be copied.

       4.      Select Enter.

Result

The new entity object is shown in the Object Details work area of the workbench. You can change the description for the entity object. The identification number will be generated internally if internal number ranges are assigned to the entity type. Alternatively, you can enter a number of your choice.
