Assigning Licenses and Exceptions 

Use

Authorities can issue licenses and specify exceptions for a waste management business partner. You can specify licenses and exceptions of this type at the following places in the master data:

·        You can specify them for the waste management business partner for which the license or exception applies. This assignment is described in this procedure.

The data that you enter here is only used for the documentation; it is not used for checks or waste life-cycle analyses.

·        You can specify them for the waste approval for which the license or exception for the waste management business partner was issued. This assignment is described under Editing Waste Management Business Partner Assignments.

The data that you enter there is used for waste life-cycle analyses.

In Germany, you can enter the following licenses, for example, depending on the role of the waste management business partner:

·         For waste generators: Display with display number in accordance with §11 of the German waste approval directive (NachwV)

·         For waste disposers: Exemption with exemption number in accordance with §13 of the German waste approval directive (NachwV)

Prerequisites

·        In Customizing for Waste Management, you have processed the IMG activity Specify License Types.

·        You have executed the procedure Editing Waste Management Business Partners and are on the first tab page for the waste management business partner to which you want to assign licenses or exceptions.
