Stages, Stage Formulas, and Their Streams

You must adhere to the following rules when you use stages, stage formulas, and their streams, so that the recipe is consistent:

The recipe formula is empty or synchronized if you use stage formulas.

All stage formulas as well as the recipe formula are consistent.

Note

The system automatically sets the Consistent indicator for a synchronized recipe formula if all stage formulas are consistent.

The output of the last stage is not a stream.

All outputs other than the primary output of the recipe (and any secondary outputs of the recipe) flow into the next stage as inputs.

Quantities and Calculations

For the consistency of formulas, the system checks the specified quantities in a formula. The system performs more checks for the quantities at recipe level:

The reference quantity does not equal 0.

The minimum and maximum lot size do not equal 0.

Consistency of Recipes with Versions

In order for the system to set the Consistent indicator for a recipe with versions, the current version must have the same primary output as the previous version.
