Use

Stock transfer functions map the initiation of stock transfers coming from the connected systems SAP CRM and SAP APO and subsequently execute these transfers in SAP EWM. SAP Service Parts Management (SPM) in ERP does not initiate, change, or cancel transfers itself, but acts as a central distributor of transfer-related information.

Transfer functions move materials either from one storage location to another (stock transfer) or to make changes to the stock type, batch number, or material number (posting change).
