Use

In this procedure, you determine the applicability of taxes for the material by assigning a tax classification in the material master record.

Prerequisites

You have defined the tax relevancy of the material master record.

Procedure

To access the material master records, from the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Logistics ® Sales and Distribution ® Master Data ® Products ® Material. Choose from the selection the type material such as Trading goods, Non-stock material, Other material and so on. Choose Change.

Enter your material. Choose Sales: Sales Org. 1 to check or change the tax classification for this material. If the material is taxable, choose 1. If the material is exempt, choose 0.
