Budgets in the Federal Government Solution (Former Budget) 

The budgeting feature in the SAP Federal Government solution is very similar to the budgeting feature in the standard Funds Management (FM) application component. The standard functions are described in detail in the documentation for FM in the SAP Library.

However, certain aspects of the budgeting functions used in Federal Government differ from standard as follows:
