When you create a company code using the Country Version Thailand template, the system creates sample cash journal business transactions typical in Thailand.

These settings are made in Customizing for Financial Accounting (FI), under Bank Accounting ® Business Transactions ® Cash Journal ® Create, Change, Delete Business Transactions.

The business transactions supplied with the system are as follows, and make the following postings:

• Cash payments for purchases of office supplies subject to 7% VAT (transaction 1)

• Cash receipts for sales subject to 7% VAT (2)

• Cash payments to specific vendors (3)

• Cash receipts from specific customers (4)

• Cash transfers from the bank to the petty cash account (5)

• Cash transfers from the petty cash account to the bank (6)

When you create a company code using the country template for Thailand, the system sets up these business transactions automatically. You can change them and create new ones to meet your requirements.

The cashiers use these business transactions to post cash receipts and payments.
