Manual Creation of Stock Transport Order 

Use

This function enables the user to create a stock transport order manually for a stock transport order with delivery via shipping or a stock transport order with delivery and billing document/invoice. In Service Parts Management (SPM), you can post stock in the issuing plant from the stock types quality inspection and blocked stock, as well as from the stock type unrestricted-use,to the stock types unrestricted use, quality inspection, or blocked stock in the receiving plant.

Prerequisites

In Customizing, you have activated the enhancements for Service Parts Management, by choosing Logistics Execution ® Service Parts Management (SPM) ® Activate Enhancements for Service Parts Management (SPM). For more information, see the implementation considerations for Service Parts Management.

Activities

Users create a stock transport order manually by choosing on the SAP Easy Access screen Logistics ® Materials Management ® Purchasing ® Purchase Order ® Create ® Vendor/Supplying Plant Known. When they enter an item, the Item detailsappear at the bottom of the screen. On the Delivery tab page under Item details, they enter the stock type of the issuing and receiving plants in the Source stock type and Stock type fields.

The system copies the specified Source stock type into the outbound delivery and the specified Stock type into the inbound delivery and posts the goods issue and goods receipt accordingly.
