Primary and Secondary Languages
With this function you specify whether certain texts are to be output in a second language in addition to the form language.
Forms are output in the language defined in the customer’s condition records.
If no language has been specified for the customer, you can use the language of the recipient country, for example.
You can also specify languages for a certain validity area and mode-of-transport category combination that are permitted by law for the output of dangerous goods documents. For example, for the validity area ADR and mode-of-transport category Road, you can use all ADR languages.
If the language chosen by the system for the form is not one of the permitted languages you specified, dangerous goods descriptions, dangerous goods-specific texts, and dangerous goods standard texts at item level can be output in a secondary language in addition to the data records already output. To do this, phrases and descriptions must have been entered in this language, and the secondary language must have been specified for the validity area and mode-of-transport category combination.
For more information on deriving countries and mode-of-transport categories, see:
· Determination of Data in Sales Documents
· Determination of Data in Shipping Documents
· Determination of Data in Shipment Documents
Make the required settings in Customizing for Dangerous Goods Management in the IMG activity Specify Languages.

Here you have the option of specifying for each regulation whether the dangerous goods data should appear in the language of the forwarding country.
