Dangerous Goods Master Editing 

Purpose

The dangerous goods master provides dangerous goods-specific data for logistic processes in the SAP system.

Integration

The following components require data from the dangerous goods master:

·        Dangerous goods checks

·        Dangerous goods documents

Prerequisites

·        You have created materials in the material master.

·        You have edited the necessary IMG activities in Customizing for Dangerous Goods Management:

Process Flow

...

       1.      To create a dangerous goods master record, assign a dangerous goods regulation to a material and add other data.

Using engineering change management you can split dangerous goods master records at a point in time or create them with temporary validity.

       2.      On the tab pages of the Hit Lists or Detail Views of the dangerous goods master you can enter dangerous goods-relevant information.

       3.      Within a dangerous goods master record you can extend the combination of material and regulation by adding packaging codes and thus creating different packaging data records.

Result

When you have created a dangerous goods master record, it is available for dangerous goods checks and for creating dangerous goods documents.
