Prerequisites

Contract bundles have already been created.

Procedure

1.       Enter the contract bundle number for the contract bundle to be changed in the contract bundle number field. You can use input help (F4).

2.       Enter the change reason. You can use input help (F4).

3.       Versioning attributes: You can change the Effectively valid from and to fields. Define the validity date (key date or interval). By doing so, you determine the time spot from which the contract bundle change is effectively valid. The current date is displayed as a default for the contract bundle start date. If you want to limit the contract bundle, enter an end date for it. The contract bundle is not effectively valid after this date.

4.       Version template: The system uses the corresponding contract versions in the standard system as a value template. These versions are valid at the effectively valid from time spot. However, you can specify a different contract version for the value template if required.

5.       If you wish to change the contract bundle type, enter the new name. You can use input help (F4).

6.       Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text. Depending on the screen sequence setting in the BDT, the system displays the next screen: either Bundle Maintenance or Bundle Assignment.

7.       Set the indicator Save contract bundle actively to save the contract bundle actively with the current date/time in the system. If you do not set this indicator, the data is saved inactively. This means that the data is not available for use in subsequent processes such as the commission case.

8.       Under the section General data on the contract bundle, specify the legal validity period for the contract bundle. Providing the Contract bundle end date is empty, the contract bundle is not legally restricted.

9.       You can change the name of the contract bundle under the section Name. The name of a contract bundle can be maintained in more than one language. If the language key is the same as the logon language, the system displays the contract bundle name in the header data under short description of contract bundle.

10.   Bundle assignment

·         Assign the commission contract under the section Assignment of commission contract to contract bundle by using the input help (F4) and selecting the required commission contract number. The following fields are automatically filled for information purposes: commission contract partner, position, organizational unit, contract start and end.

·         Assign the commission contract under the section Assignment of contract bundle to contract bundle by using the input help (F4) and selecting the required contract bundle number. The contract bundle start and end fields are also filled automatically for information purposes.

11.   Assign a sequential number to identify the assignment uniquely.

Result

All the changes that you have now made are saved for the validity period that you selected in the initial screen.
