Using the Progress Analysis
Workbench
1. On the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Logistics/Accounting ® Project System ® Progress ® Progress Analysis Workbench.
2. Enter your selection criteria.
You have the following options:
¡ Project definition, WBS element, network, or activity
¡ Progress version
¡ Period/year
You can also filter the data by:
¡ Project object status, using the Object Status Selection field
¡ Earliest dates, latest dates, and float in days
3. Choose Execute.
The system displays the data that matches your selection criteria in a table, from which you can:
· View the progress of your project objects at a glance. For example, you can check the percentage of completion (POC), the budgeted cost of work scheduled (BCWS), budgeted cost of work performed, (BCWP), and so on, for each project object.
· Confirm actual start and finish dates, and other data related to project progress, for example, forecast dates, for activities and activity elements. For WBS elements, you can confirm basic and actual dates.
· Update POC values, user fields, and customer fields
· Update the system and user status of project objects

You can set the system status to Released, Technically completed, or Closed by choosing Edit ® Status followed by the relevant status, or by using the input help in the System Status field.
If you have called up more than one project in the workbench, you cannot change the system status.
· Navigate to the detail screen for a project object by double-clicking the object
· Export the data displayed to Microsoft® Excel

The status of a project object determines which fields you can edit for that object. For example, if the system status of an activity is TECO (technically completed), none of the fields can be edited.
All project objects that you call up in the progress analysis workbench are automatically locked for editing in the Project Builder, and vice versa.
